The Royal Society of Medcine is hosting a combined conference with the Arni Trust entitled MEDICINE AND ME: STROKE for stroke survivors and their carers/trainers from 12.30pm to 5pm on 17th June 2011.
‘Medicine and Me’ conferences, initiated and developed by the Royal Society of Medicine, are specifically designed to bring together healthcare professionals and patients, their families, carers and advocates to discuss current management and research issues of a particular condition so that each can learn from the other. In this upcoming Conference Stroke is highlighted. The event aims to provide an interactive forum in which the patient’s voice is given top priority. The meeting provides an opportunity for healthcare professionals to hear first hand from patients and their families about their experiences and concerns and for patients to hear about the latest treatment and research by questioning the experts in an informal environment.
This Conference is free of charge for patients and carers. Trainers may also bring their patients.
